IRIDA 0.18.0 Released

The 0.18.0 version of IRIDA has been released! This release contains a number of new features.

Maximum Coverage

A maximum coverage option has been added for projects in addition to the minimum coverage cutoffs. Neither setting is required.

Concatenating sequence files

IRIDA now allows you to concatenate sequence files within the sample/files view. From the files view, click the `Concatenate Sequences` button to select files to concatenate. This process will create a new set of sequence files with the concatenate files, and all pair associations will be maintained.

See the documentation for more at https://irida.corefacility.ca/documentation/user/user/samples/#concatenating-sequence-files

Downloading line list and metadata templates

You may now download metadata and metadata templates from the line list page and project settings page as excel files. This should assist users in adding metadata to a project as they can download the template files, modify or add rows, then re-upload to IRIDA.

Other updates:

  • Improved performance of analysis pages - Speed of loading the page should be improved.
  • Download individual analysis output files - Click individual analysis file names to download instead of downloading an entire package.
  • Copy ownership - Allows users to copy samples without permitting modification access to the new project and users.
